El Guapo Syrups: Demerara

Demerara sugar is a coarse, golden raw sugar with natural molasses and a light caramel flavor. It’s named after the former colony of Demerara, where this style of sugar was first exported. It has a richer flavor than simple syrup and is often used in classic cocktails. 

Crafted in partnership with Alma Sugarcane Mill in Lakeland, Louisiana, El Guapo's Demerara Syrup is rich, golden, and packed with flavor. 

Made from raw, single-origin cane sugar and finished with a hint of dried orange peel for balance and complexity, this 2:1 rich simple syrup adds depth to coffee and cocktails.

A must-have for classics like the Old Fashioned, Sazerac, and Milk Punch. Stir into cold brew, mix into a whiskey sour, or drizzle over waffles and ice cream.
